Captain von Coes is a beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd. Captain can come off a bit shy or serious at first but, once he gets comfortable, it’s endless love after that. He is such a lovable boy that he will jump on you for hugs and kisses as long as you allow him to. This tall boy stops traffic with his beautiful coat and amazing bushy tail. During walks he is right next to you. He just knows that looking good is what brings him lots of attention, so when brushed he acts like a complete gentleman. This smart boy knows his basic commands including sit, down and stay. Captain does well with most dogs, especially those that don't challenge his commanding personality and allow him to be the pack leader. He would thrive in an adults-only home that does not have a lot of visitors. Captain falls in love with his owners right away and can be a bit over-protective of his “person” so he needs an experienced Shepherd owner who knows how to establish boundaries and enforce limits for this handsome guy. He is just a happy boy waiting for the right person to bring out the best in him and provide him with a calm environment where he doesn’t feel the need to be overly protective. Captain would also like a nice private spot for his dinner dish, as he prefers to dine in solitude.
